In May of 2003, a group of quilters met with an interest to share their love and experience of quilting. After several months, the group became the Pieceful Mountain Quilters. Our members are full-time and seasonal residents of Blue Ridge, Georgia and the surrounding area. There are now 30 to 40 members who meet on the second Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the United Community Bank Community Room in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. Some of our activities have included: Blotto, Strip Exchange, Round Robin, Mystery Quilt, charity quilts and community projects. The highlight of each meeting is "Show and Tell' where members can display their work and share information about its construction. Each month the guild has a member demonstrate and share a quilting technique.
