June Newsletter
What an informative, inspiring and educational meeting we had! Pat Pugrant, a docent for the The William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum, brought her Women of Valor Quilt and shared the history of the contributions of "ordinary" women to the city of Atlanta. It drove home the importance of recording the legacies of past generations. We learned so much and thank Pat for taking the time to share her knowledge with us.
Linda is heading up our new December Quilt Challenge. One of the requirements is there must be something "fishy" about the quilt, so get those creative juices flowing!
Everyone is looking forward to our upcoming retreat that is being handled by Darlene and Linda. They both go above and beyond each year to make sure we have a wonderful time. Expect emails from Darlene with more info to come.
Scottie is with her sister as she recovers from surgery. Our thoughts are with them and we wish them the best.
See you all at the Retreat!
Lillian
